i had no idea it “automagically” updated itself now. no more logging in to my web host account and dragging and dropping new files every update ( like that was hard lol). all i have to do now is click a button and voila!

silly 120 dpi screens.. wait i thought screens were ppi?

man… looks like this is gonna turn into a monthly updated blog.
i hope to post more sooner when i get more “free time” i guess. which translates to when i get paid enough at one job to not have to have another. but anyway.. the only news worth sharing is this crazy 96 dpi versus 120 dpi setting some people’s (my boss’s) computers have. i was lucky a more knowledgeable cat had attempted to solve this problem before. where this shows:

and any web page design depending on image size, rather like every website ever, will break because of the images displayed at 125% will knock down the content of the carefully measured to the pixel designs… 
i just changed my boss’s settings so other websites wont break but i’m gonna try out that script when i get a chance. and i mean if google is pixelated doesn’t that mean that it’s an isolated problem? and that everyone needs to fix there computer… no?

site launch… a new begining

i finally launched my site. after a few technical difficulties i decided that i didn’t need to put every piece of my work on there before i put it online so i’ll still be adding pieces as i take more photos and convert them to a friendly digital form for the web.
i see now that there is no time to waste when so many things can happen in the mean time. like if the sun dies before i get to taste that ice cream i wanted to try, or if aliens come to destroy the world before i got to see the pyramids, or if my computer gets broken before i reach a point where i’m happy enough with my website to put it online because nothing could improve… oh wait that did happen.
that sucked. my sister “bumped” it. so i had to point some funding toward an external display. but its cool because i secretly wanted one anyway. now instead of a 1280×800 resolution i can stare into a 1680×1050 screen. i’m just sad i can’t carry it around anymore. and it would have been even cooler if i could have been able to use both displays at the same time. but its a little too pricey to get it fixed right now.
and now with my new display, broken laptop, and my new impatient ‘there’s no time to waste’ mindset my job search begins with new fever.
